I first heard of Mike Yaconelli through The Wittenburg Door, a tongue-in-cheek magazine he published. Later, I was able to meet Mike and got to know him, not as a friend, but as a ministerial acquaintance. I found him to be quite the common man. He was easy to talk to and put on no airs. I was saddened at his passing.
