More snow pics

Posted on February 29, 2008 by Brian

Meant to have these up yesterday for Joe(heh heh) but the day got away from me.

I was able to spend a little time outside with the kids after work but it didn’t take long until my hands were numb. Jenn was commenting on how as kids they would play for hours, come in until their clothes were barely dry and then go back out for more. I remember doing the same thing but if I tried that now I’d need a week to recover.

But we are thankful for the snow. And I hope that Kathy and others who want it get some before the season is done.

There is a place here that has a self-enclosed snowy wonderland. I think it costs like US$7 or something like that, and they even let you borrow heavy jackets and maybe even gloves and hats too.

I’ve never been in, but there’s a huge window. It’s funny to see them all bundled up, whereas I think I would just revel in the cold with just a t-shirt on.

Oh, and pants.

Thanks for sharing pictures! Looks like you’ve got your own little sledding hill there!

The kids *are* sweet and it’s wonderful they can play out in it for hours. My boys were the same way.

Cute kids, but I have to ask is the one in blue as much of a pistol as she looks? There’s something in that little grin that says pure trouble. ;-)

HA!! That’s the funniest thing I’ve read all day! (That’s all I’ll say about that.) ;)

Rong, which girl are you referring to? Maybe A8 on the left in the last pic? She’s actually in a black coat, hence the confusion. But to answer your question, YES! They’re both chock-full of their own personal brand of mischief! (But S3 has the market cornered!) Maybe some time soon I’ll make a post about their little adventures. I never can decide if that’s really appropriate for this space…

I think we’ve got a snowstorm headed our way!

I think you’ve got a better chance of it up your way, Kathy. It looks like you just might get a yard full! At the moment, the weather folks are predicting 1-4″ for our area. Quite a spread, huh? I think that’s weather speak for “We’re really not quite sure what will happen with this storm.” :D

We’ll have to wait this one out here on the east side of Nashville. We are hoping for a little accumulation to play in with Dad, though, since it’s going to hit on the weekend this time.
