Oh, my. That reminds me of back in August of 2003. I was fairly upset about a few personal issues. One night I was driving home from choir practice and was passing through a four way stop when I was broadsided on the passenger side toward the back of the car.

It spun the car around, and totalled it. Fortunately, we were both OK, and the other driver's car was almost without damage.

We bought a used van, and a couple weeks later I was driving my daughter to a cross-country meet when a very young deer pulled out from a thicket which was very close to the road -- very little curb before a small wooded area -- and I plowed right into it, killing it instantly. I could only keep saying over and over, "I killed a deer! I killed a deer!"

The van still has a couple very small dimple like dents on the front of it.

I will be in prayer for you all. It's tough when things happen like this in bunches.

Good grief, Jenn. I'm glad you are all ok. We (still) have a deer-shaped dent on the hood and front grill of Scott's Corolla, so I know how lucky you all were (including the deer!)

It is good to be able to see God's providence.
